Basic information

Hotel Academia is 4 star business hotel , opened in December 2017., located at the very heart of Zagreb, at Tkalčićeva 88. Thanks to its location, which is just a short walk away from the Ban Josip Jelačić Square, Hotel Academia is ideally positioned for all of you who appreciate the proximity to the historical city centre. In the vicinity are the Zagreb Cathedral, Gornji Grad (Gradec) neighbourhood, St. Mark's Church, Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, Zagreb City Museum and Lotrščak Tower.

The hotel has 53 modern accommodation units (51 double rooms and 2 junior suites with hot tubs). Apart from the accommodation units, the hotel facilities consist of 2 multifunctional halls for organization of business and formal events, while the Meeting room is ideal for smaller up to 10 person meetings.

Guests also have a 2-story underground garage at their disposal. To access the hotel from the garage, elevators can be used. Access to the hotel is also provided for the buses, with bus standing allowed so the guests can leave or board it undisturbed.

Thanks to the ideas of our creative chefs, we offer you a completely different food experience coupled with a rich offer of foods and drinks oriented on small local food producers. Catering for all types of events is an exclusive product of our chefs and confectioners. In addition to a wide selection of work lunches and dinners, and coffee breaks, we also have a broad selection of menus for receptions, gala dinners and other business and informal gatherings and celebrations.
