It is a pleasure to introduce unique facility Astronomical Centre Rijeka, managed by Rijeka sport Ltd. This fantastic spot is a starting point for a space journey, by stargazing through telescope at the observatory or by watching breathtaking images in a modern digital planetarium, the only one in Croatia and wider. Center won European award in category Public Service Development and several national awards in category of tourism and marketing.
Also Center is a perfect place to organize different educations, lectures, smaller concerts, meetings and conferences. This unique facility in this part of Europe contains observatory, digital planetarium, caffe bar, multimedia workshop, conference hall, meeting room, and two terraces, a panoramic terrace on the rooftop with the most beautiful view on Kvarner, and a lower terrace at the entrance, ideal for smaller outdoor events.
In a relatively short period, from its opening in April 2009, Astronomical Centre Rijeka became a recognizable place for its location, experience for all visitors thanks to high-quality programs at digital planetarium, bright interior, design, great functionality of all spaces, closeness to highway as well as public transport and the view of Kvarner and its surroundings.
